Rankings

Updated for SOSC 75

This chart shows the top 100 songs in the history of the SOSC, ranked by points-per-jury (PPJ).

This chart ranks both countries and players by assigning Eurovision-style points according to top-10 results: 12 points for 1st place, 10 points for 2nd place, etc. You can see rankings for the entire history of the contest and also for the 10 most recent editions only.

This chart ranks countries according to 1st (gold), 2nd (silver), and 3rd (bronze) place finishes, in the style of the Olympic Games. Two separate ranking methods are used:

    • The IOC Ranking Method, in which countries are ranked first by the number of gold medals, then silver, then bronze.

    • The USA Ranking Method, in which countries are ranked first by the total number medals, then by golds, silvers, and bronzes.

The SOSC has featured over 2,000 songs. You can view the 100th, 200th, etc., on this chart.
